11. Krishna Humbles Brahma
- Cow grazing and Brahma appears; why would a god share food?
- Brahma tests Krishna by stealing his friends and cows; Krishna tests back
- Brahma recognises his divinity
- The ferocious bull called Hastin (source of all cows; but very aggressive)
- Balarama wants to kill Hastin but Krishna says no and says he will ride the bull by next full moon
- Does this by playing the flute and feeding Hastin, making him docile
- "A lesson of kindness"
- Radha and Krishna became one soul; Yashoda says no
- Krishna could not marry Radha due to his own destiny (this revelation made him very sad as he realised he had to follow the destiny to be the saviour of Dharma)
14. Akrur Invites Krishna
- Kamsa could not defeat Krishna
- Akrur while devoted to Kamsa, still felt warm towards Krishna and believed in his divinity
- Although the invite to the worship of the bow was a deception which Akrur warned him about, Krishna still went because he knew it twas his destiny
- Everyone is sad and devastated that Krishna is leaving; they beg him to stay
- Balarama, Krishna and Akrur reached banks of Yamuna; halted here
- After dipping his head in the river several times, Akrur sees the divine form of Vishnu under his serpents' hoods
- They arrive finally after many days; stories of kindness and heroism from Krishna move through the city
- An old woman with three deformities (hunched back, paralysed knee, twisted neck) requires healing from Krishna
- Kamsa realises that the prophecy will come true
- Tries to get Kuvalayapida, an elephant, to trample Krishna at the arena; Krishna flung the elephant away by his trunk and delivered a final blow
- Balamara and Krishna go to the area where the ceremony is taking place
- Defeat guards and then Krishna lifts the bow of Shiva (and the bow snapped; Ramayana reference?)
- Kamsa sends his army to kill Krishna but this does not work
- Kamsa sees the face of Vishnu in Krishna; Krishna defeats Kamsa in the end
- Mathura is free from Kamsa
- Death of the wicked Kamsa signals a new age
- Chaos reigns in some areas and Krishna and his brother must restore order
- Krishna frees his family (including his grandfather, Ugrasena who would become king) from the prisons; he finally meets his parents
- Krishna and Balarama continue to live in Mathura
20. Dwarka- Krishna's Kingdom
- New enemies arise in the midst of the allies of Kamsa;
- Nearby king Jarasandha wants to war with Krishna and attacks
- Krishna moves Mathura to Dwarka under the great architect
- Krishna becomes king in Dwarka; Krishna spared Jarasandha of Magadha because he is to be defeated by Bhima.
